How the system works

Strap → Cradle → Wrist

The FKM rubber strap connects to the Cradle Adapter V1 via 22mm spring bars through the integrated lug holes — the same method used by all major Swiss watchmakers.

The Royal Pop module then drops into the 40.35mm socket and is held by the 0.7mm retaining lip. Nothing touches the watch mechanically. No force, no adhesive, no drilling. The module is back in your hand in seconds.

Materials & process

Engineered slowly, on purpose.

Cradle Adapter V1 is a single, deliberately small production run. Every cradle is CNC-finished to tight tolerances around the Royal Pop case geometry, paired with FKM rubber and a deployant clasp tuned by hand. Nothing is mass-produced. Nothing is rushed.

Step 01 · Cradle
CNC machined to 40.35mm.
The cradle body is machined from solid stock. The inner socket is measured against the Royal Pop case, leaving a 0.7mm retaining lip that holds the module flush without clamping force.

Step 02 · Strap
FKM, the dive-watch compound.
FKM (fluoroelastomer) is the rubber used in dive watch straps and aerospace seals. Denser and more UV-stable than standard silicone. Resists sweat, oils, sunscreen. Feels closer to a Rolex Oysterflex than a sports band.

Step 03 · Clasp
PW deployant, hand-tuned.
Each butterfly deployant is opened, closed, and adjusted by hand before it ships. The closing action sits flat on the wrist with no spring-bar fumbling and no exposed pin.

No. The goal is a completely non-permanent cradle system. The Royal Pop sits inside the socket held by the 0.7mm retaining lip. Nothing is drilled or glued. Remove it at any time and the watch returns to its original condition immediately.
